At the time of sale, this puppy is well suited as a companion family pet and or
obedience dog/agility. A deposit of $300 is required for us to hold and reserve
a puppy for the family. Deposits are non-refundable and will go towards balance
for the puppy being held for the buyer. Deposits are made out to Rachel Hopkins Miller OR Filiberto Martinez. Full payment for puppy must
be made before buyer receives their puppy.
Our puppies
are raised inside with us, and well socialized. Our puppies are vet checked at
6 weeks by our veterinarian and receive shots UTD and de-worming before going
to their new home. It is highly recommended that the new owner take this puppy
to veterinarian within 72 hours (3 days) to certify the puppy’s good health. In
the event the puppy is not considered healthy, we must be notified immediately,
and a replacement puppy (when one is available) will be provided, as long as
the puppy is returned, along with written proof that it was seen by a licensed
veterinarian. In the event, the puppy was purchased on a weekend,
the time frame will begin the first working day after purchase.
A puppy/dog
can be expected to take up to 3 weeks to adjust to its new family and
environment. Each new pet will require patience and consistent instruction from
each family member. If there are other pets in the family, the puppy should be
introduced slowly to them and supervised. We HIGHLY encourage you to take this
puppy to obedience training or puppy classes. It is very beneficial for both puppy
and owner.
SPAY /NEUTER
Agreement: You agree NOT to breed this puppy/dog. This puppy will be on AKC
Limited Registration. The Buyer agrees to spay/neuter this puppy at an
appropriate age and will furnish proof to Starlight Shelties. When we receive proof,
Starlight will provide AKC Registration papers.
By your
signature, you agree that the seller may take immediate repossession and access
a fine of $2500 if it is found that this puppy/dog had been subjected to abuse,
neglect or has been bred.
